Archdiocese of Washington
Catholic Charismatic Service Committee

About WCCSC

Since the early 1970s there has been a committee of men and women who have striven to serve and promote the overall Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the Archdiocese of Washington. Over the years the Committee has sponsored conferences, retreats, ‘Days of Renewal’ and other events, including the newsletter, ‘Shared Gifts.’ Currently on the Committee is the Renewal liaison to the Archbishop for English speakers, Father Fred Close, Pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Washington. Serving with him is Father Rory Conley, Pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bryantown, Maryland, Teri Stief, Community Administrator at the Mother of God Community in Gaithersburg, Maryland as well as other committee members. If you would like to be placed on a mailing list to receive information about Catholic Charismatic events or you know someone who you think would be a good candidate to serve on the Committee, please contact us. Also, please contact us about Catholic Charismatic groups that you know are meeting virtually or in person during these COVID pandemic times. The Committee would especially like to receive information about local Catholic Charismatic Renewal groups and activities from non-English speakers.
